๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฉ๐ช I hardly know anyone in India who doesnโt desire to own a ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, or Audi. But when it comes to actually making a purchase, the reality of purchasing power and ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐-๐๐ผ-๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ kicks in.
๐ The largest share of the Indian passenger car market goes to ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐๐ถ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ธ๐ถ, the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese carmaker Suzuki. It began as a joint venture between Maruti Udyog Ltd. of India and Suzuki of Japan in the 1980s. This long-standing partnership has built a ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฟ๐๐๐ among Indian buyers, which continues to pay off. Add to that the fact that Maruti Suzuki offers models
In my opinion, German OEMs will need to continue focusing on the ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐๐บ ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ to profit from the ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ desiring SUVs and larger cars, but with deeper localization and new models.
Do you believe that ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ข๐๐ ๐ have the desire to increase their market share in the Indian market, which is ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐น-๐ด๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ in the world, currently standing at below 5%?
๐ข If you find the posts valuable, please ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ, ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ, and/or ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ to spread the word.
